Quickstart
Run Wallet locally and issue a temporary mock card with an approved authorization.
Use this flow to validate the complete user interaction before connecting a hosted deployment.
1. Start Wallet
Start the local stack from the Wallet service repository. It serves the web app at http://localhost:3000 and the MCP endpoint at http://localhost:9090/mcp.

Add the local /mcp endpoint in an MCP client that supports OAuth. The client opens Wallet’s sign-in and consent experience; complete it with the account you want the agent to use.
The OAuth redirect and the MCP endpoint must use the same configured Wallet base URL.
3. Prepare the account
Ask the agent for get_account. If the response tells you to add a card, open the safe setup link it returns and complete card enrollment in Wallet.
4. Review the authorization
Ask the agent to create an authorization for a purchase intent. It returns a unique approval URL. Open that link while signed in, review the request, and approve it. The agent can then retrieve the authorization again to see its active state.
5. Issue the temporary mock card
Ask the agent to call check_purchase for the intended purchase. This only evaluates the intent: it issues nothing, reserves nothing, and contacts nobody. When allowed, call issue_temporary_card with the authorization, merchant, amount, currency, cart, and idempotency key. It reserves mock budget and returns a temporary synthetic, non-chargeable credential bound by metadata to that intent.
